The Medicine Delusion by Robert Collier is a thought-provoking book that challenges the traditional medical system and its reliance on pharmaceutical drugs. Collier argues that the medical industry has become more focused on profits than on patient care, and that prescription drugs are often overprescribed and misused, causing more harm than good. The author provides a historical perspective on medicine and how it has evolved over time, from ancient healing practices to modern medicine. He also examines the role of the pharmaceutical industry in shaping medical practices and policies, and how it has influenced doctors and patients alike.Collier questions the effectiveness of many commonly prescribed drugs, such as antidepressants and statins, and highlights the dangers of their side effects. He also explores alternative approaches to healing, such as natural remedies and lifestyle changes, and how they can be more effective and sustainable in the long run.Overall, The Medicine Delusion is a thought-provoking and informative book that challenges readers to think critically about the medical system and their own health choices. It is a must-read for anyone interested in understanding the flaws and limitations of modern medicine and exploring alternative approaches to healing.THIS 24 PAGE ARTICLE WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE BOOK: Secret of the Ages, by Robert Collier.
