This thesis describes the development of an automated measurement system for detecting temperature-induced deviations in displacement sensors. National Instruments LabVIEW serves as the software development platform. The system controls a test rig for non-contact eddy-current displacement sensors on the basis of a loaded temperature profile. The user interface allows for a wide range of settings for the measurement process parameters. User-friendly tools have been developed to analyse the measurement results. The measurement data can be easily exported for further processing in third-party applications. The use of this system has significantly accelerated the development process for the displacement sensors.
