This book is a series of meditations on the real message, and meaning, of Christmas. Taking some of the most familiar words from the Bible commonly associated with the Christmas season, they seek to unpack not just the familiar story of the nativity, but its true and abiding significance for our world. First published in 1971 (and several times thereafter) but long since out of print, my hope in producing this revised edition is that many more will find both light and delight in the meaning of Christmas.
