Four year old Abby Schmidt's little world is being flipped upside-down. Not only is her mom going back to work instead of staying home with her, but she is also getting a new nanny! She did not fly in with a magical umbrella or carpet bag in hand Nor did she come from the musical hills of that Austrian land. Actually she arrived in a rather plain and quite ordinary style. At 7am sharp, Monday morning... She stood at our front door with a BIG BRIGHT SMILE! At first Abby is a little cautious and confused about her new impending situation. But after a short while, Abby and her new nanny, Maxy Poppinz are getting along just fine. There are adventures to be had, and lessons to be learned in this contemporary tale about a little girl and her new nanny.
