Marxism In The United States is a book written by Leon Trotsky, a prominent Marxist theorist and revolutionary leader. The book provides a comprehensive analysis of the development of Marxism in the United States, from its early beginnings in the late 19th century to the rise of the Communist Party in the 1920s and 1930s. Trotsky examines the various political and social factors that contributed to the growth of Marxism in America, including the labor movement, the struggle for women's rights, and the fight against racism.Throughout the book, Trotsky offers his insights on the strengths and weaknesses of the Marxist movement in the United States, and provides a critique of the various political factions that emerged within the movement. He also discusses the impact of World War I and the Russian Revolution on the development of Marxism in the United States, and the role of the Communist International in shaping the direction of the movement.Marxism In The United States is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of Marxism in America, and provides a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced by the movement in the early 20th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
