A Man Sent Of God: The Life Of J. O. McClurkan is a biography written by Merle McClurkan Heath about her grandfather, J. O. McClurkan. J. O. McClurkan was a prominent figure in the early Pentecostal movement and the founder of the Church of the Nazarene. The book chronicles his life from his childhood in rural Tennessee to his calling as a preacher and his eventual leadership in the Church of the Nazarene. The book explores his theological beliefs, his passion for evangelism, and his commitment to social justice issues such as racial equality and women's rights. The author draws on family archives and personal interviews to provide an intimate portrait of her grandfather's life and ministry. The book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of the Pentecostal movement and the Church of the Nazarene, as well as those interested in the life of a remarkable Christian leader. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
