When speaking to the prophet Samuel one day, God made a statement that men have been struggling to fully understand ever since. He said that the youngster named David was a man after His own heart and that, because of it, David had been chosen as captain over his people. Later, God told David himself that his heirs would rule forever. What does all of that mean? What made David so different from his predecessor, Saul? Why was Saul rejected as being king over Israel and David chosen to take his place? More importantly, how can we, in this twenty-first century, learn to do the things that please God and that position us for leadership in His Kingdom. Now, in a presentation that has rightly been called life-changing, Rev. Desmond Thomas lays out, clearly and concisely, the challenging answers to these and other vital questions of our time.
