The Magnetizers by Charles MacKay is a historical novel that explores the fascinating world of mesmerism and the power of suggestion. As he delves deeper into the world of mesmerism, he discovers that there are many others who share his passion, including a group of women known as the magnetizers who use their powers to heal and seduce. As Dupotet becomes more involved with the magnetizers, he begins to uncover a dark side to their practices and must decide whether to continue down this path or risk everything to expose the truth. The Magnetizers is a gripping tale of love, power, and deception that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
