Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.-Robert Frost
In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.-Robert Frost
Writing and art (as well as my cat and nephew) all got me through the toughest times in my life so far. Yes, I said so far. We all know life doesn't get easier, but it's sure worth it. When we find our passion and what we love. We all need an outlet to make these unbearable times bearable. A grade 2 student of mine once said three dots on a paper just means 'keep on going'. And he was right. So here it is...a collection of poems that summarize some of these experiences and emotions so far. It's not easy to pour your heart out and share it with others. My poems have become journal entries for me, even my therapy perhaps. Or some I've written simply as gifts for others, or out of love. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I did writing them.
