He awaken feeling a burning sensation across his shoulders. He glanced down to find his arm charred, with crisped pieces of blackened flesh hanging loose off the bone, and watched as the blood seeped down through the sliced meat to his hands. His body was painted in pink and black splotchy marks of burning skin. With an overpowering stench of smoke, his clothes were torn and dried. Surrounding him was a pile of broken glass. He dragged his body off the floor and slowly made his way across the ground, barefooted. He was careful not to step on the jagged fragments that spread across the entire floor. We do not know who he is or where he came from. As a matter of fact, he, himself, does not know who he is or where he came from. We do know that he is alone, completely alone.
