LAKESHORE FUN Xs & Ys is a thought-provoking collection of lyrical stories that use the sprawling Milwaukee shoreline of the majesty that is Lake Michigan as their common backdrop. Along this stretch where water meets land, one can find their hopes only to throw them all away...find themselves embroiled in an adolescent flirtation for which they may not be ready...it may be the place where a certain amount of danger lurks...or a common ground where one can feel comfortable in giving sound advice to someone with far better chances at survival than what they've got... And so much more. Because this is where life happens. It may not always be pretty. But there is something of which it can be counted: It's REAL. Oftentimes, more reality than one would like from it. And sometimes, a heart can hurt just as much from the power of laughter as its gales get lost in the trees of which branches hover so close to the lake that they can almost kiss the water... Maybe succeed? Only if they're lucky...
