To be lost is to be in a labyrinth. To lose yourself, to lose concious, to lose clarity. I've never been stuck in a labyrinth, but I've felt the labyrinth within. In those labyrinth's I found poetry as solace. Emotions that would never dare pass my verbal threshold found themselves in my words. I grew with my writing, starting in an 8th grad english class, graduating to a 17 year old that has found cityscapes and lives unknown in poetry. This book is a collection of exactly that, it is my growth, from child to tempermental near adult. This book is me, in every form I have known so far
