LaDon's Lost Diamond is a fun-filled novel about how a retail jeweler (LaDon Reames) loses a 1/2 karat diamond earring. She has reason to believe the local barber (Jake) stole it as another one of his practical jokes. This evolves into a battle of the sexes in rural Middleton, Idaho. Meanwhile, a handsome young cardiologist/surgeon (Dr. J) roams homeless in Middleton's streets, going through garbage cans for food and items of value. This is his pretend life, after a personal tragedy destroyed him, months earlier. Upon learning of the lost earring, and of the practical jokes made by Jake the barber, Dr. J exploits both sides, sending the entire town into a circus of laughter and fun. What makes this novel somewhat different than your traditional comedy is the author used his real wife's name, in the community where they live. This novel will lift your spirits, strengthen your faith in humanity, make you laugh, and entertain you all at the same time.
