En su prólogo, Fernando Limeres Novoa destaca la ambigüedad existencial del protagonista, que se representa en la antÃtesis de su nombre: 'Emanuel' del hebreo 'Dios con nosotros' establece la presencia de una lógica metafÃsica, y el patronÃmico 'Marx' es un significante que remite a la materialidad y su dialéctica.
