The first lie was spoken by the devil in Genesis 3 and produced the fall of humanity. God listed a lying tongue among the seven things He calls an abomination in Proverbs 6. Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Spirit in Acts 5 and died on the spot - the same day.
