Luke - The Sweet Gospel is a historical novel that transports us to the days following the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. Two months after that fateful event, Mary and the apostle John settle in Ephesus, a vibrant city rich in cultural contrasts. There, they meet Luke, a deeply skeptical Greek physician devoted to the logic of science and the rational pursuit of knowledge. This encounter stirs an unexpected restlessness within him and drives him to embark on a journey to Jerusalem, determined to interview those who were direct witnesses of Jesus' miracles and teachings.
As he travels the roads, the stories of Jesus' wonders begin to challenge the foundations of his disbelief. In the process, his worldview falters, giving way to a profound transformation: that of a man who, despite his rationality, cannot help but surrender to the mystery of faith.
