Born on Easter Sunday, April 15, 1979, in Pontypool, Wales, Luke George Evans grew up in the small town of Aberbargoed. As the only child of Yvonne and David Evans, Luke's early years were shaped by his upbringing as a Jehovah's Witness. However, at the age of 16, he chose to leave both the religion and his schooling behind. Seeking a new path, he moved to Cardiff at 17 and began studying under the guidance of singing coach Louise Ryan. His dedication paid off when he won a scholarship to the prestigious London Studio Centre in 1997, from which he graduated in 2000....
