Ready... set... Vámonos!

Meet Lucía - the fastest kid on the block - and Churro, her dramatic little Pomeranian who rides shotgun in the sidecar of her bright, sticker-covered wheelchair. When the ice cream truck starts rolling away, this unstoppable duo takes off on a hilarious high-speed neighborhood chase, zooming past sprinklers, piñatas, and one very slow, very fancy party.

Read it out loud - the laughs are built for it! This funny read-aloud picture book bosses YOU around (make the sound! shout Vámonos! hold your breath!) while Churro - confident, dramatic, and almost never right - steals every page. A joyful, diverse picture book starring a Latina girl in a wheelchair, where the adventure is the whole point and nobody needs a lesson. Perfect for kids ages 4-8, story time, and read-aloud bedtimes - and a great pick for fans of funny dog books, ice-cream-truck adventures, and diverse books with real disability representation that kids ask for again and again.
