It's a well-known key that's usually misunderstood. Thankfulness opens the door to a happier life - but this is not any old gratitude. A typical gratitude practice comprises a few steps. Initially, they tell you to remember things and then instruct you to do so throughout the day. However, there are additional steps to take. There are other steps in this journal, which are based on over 60 years of Christian ministry experience.
Clinical psychologist Dr Jim Wilder and psychiatrist Karl Lehman have each devoted 30 years to the overlap between our walk with Jesus, thanksgiving and thriving. - Works because it is based in practice. I have used it for myself and in groups. This means that it contains practical exercises which work. It takes time and a series of steps to grow in appreciation and the journal is based around those.

- Has a biblical basis. Thanksgiving is a foundational Christian habit and perspective. As 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 puts it, Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. It has Bible verses throughout the pages.
