Love Theory 101 is a satirical four-act play by Dolly Gray Landon that lampoons academic pretension and the use of impenetrable jargon in higher education.

Set in the absurd, sprawling megalopolis of Pimpleton, New Joysey, Love Theory 101 is a four-act high black comedy centered around Pimpleton State Looniversity. The plot begins on the first day of an undergraduate seminar on Love Theory, taught by the pompous and inscrutable Perfessor J. Druben Xeroxburger. Xeroxburger delivers impenetrable, jargon-heavy lectures to a small class of four eccentric students: the hyper-sensitive, archaic-tongued introvert Dweebaldo Van Boofus; the smarmy teacher's pet Phisto McGroin; the bubble-headed bimbo Goldie Gobbledygoo; and the late-arriving goth-hippie Abigail Oinkbladder.
