HERE'S WHAT READERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THIS NEW ADULT, STEAMY HISTORICAL ROMANCE This is a time period I have researched extensively.... The mannerisms and speech patterns are believable, and the story line and characters are worthy. I enjoy this genre and the author's treatment of the tropes. Miscommunication is always a great plot tool and Ms. Frances handles it well... This book was full of twists and turns. Definitely a lot of miscommunication which made me so angry at times because it could've prevented so much heartache. A great plot with wonderful supporting characters. I loved all the characters, they added so much to the story. A great read! Having been a huge fan of this author's works under her paranormal pen name of Eileen Sheehan, I was so ready to see what she did with Historical Romance in Love Misunderstood, as this is a genre I am a huge fan of, especially as of late. I am pleased to report that I found the book to be quite the enjoyable read, and it actually took a few turns I wasn't quite expecting. I knew I loved the author's style of writing because of her prior work, but this still managed to stand out and be different. I look forward to her further work in this particular genre, because I feel it's one where she really stands out. If you like her work as Eileen Sheehan, give this a try if you want to try something new. If your a fan of historical romance, then this book is definitely one you'll want to check out. This is a historical romance. You wouldn't know by looking at the cover so don't let that stop you......My first thought when I started reading was it was slow and was going to be like the rest..you know rich privileged marry blah blah blah..THIS is not like all the rest! It has marriage yes but miscommunication, dangerous awful situations. This is a good book..give this a read..you won't be disappointed!
