With the heart of a poet and the pen of a songwriter, Larry Norman McCollum presents his first tome of poetry. Comprised of a lifetime's worth of poetry and songs, Love for All Mankind is indeed a labor of love for McCollum, who intends to finish out his twilight years sharing his gift of writing with the world.
McCollum writes of the glorious nature of love found: I fall to my knees every night and ask God why he has brought someone to me that I love with all my heart and soul. / What did I do to deserve such an angel from heaven? and wistfully looks back at love lost: Your touch was soft and gentle. / Your smile was a memory in my mind. / I guess I'll never find a love as true as the one I had with you. / And I'll always wonder why, how your heart turned blue.
A book of love-pursued, found, and lost-Love for All Mankind is full of poetry that touches the heart.
