From the tennis courts of England to the international stage, Sarah Flood had been chasing her dreams since she was nine years old. A highly competitive junior player, who competed nationally, was ranked top 5 in the UK, and played Junior Wimbledon before earning a scholarship to play NCAA Division I tennis at the University of Houston, Sarah thought all of her dreams were coming true.
Then everything changed. She was faced with a string of personal tragedies, after losing her mother to melanoma, witnessing the second plane fly into the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001 and was then involved in a catastrophic car accident-it would be a day that would change her life forever and threatened to rob her of everything she had worked hard for, leaving her facing a long and uncertain road ahead. Twenty-eight surgeries later and a fight for survival, there was the terrifying possibility that the sport she had devoted her life to might be taken away from her forever.
Love All is Sarah's powerful true story of loss, family, ambition, adversity, and the determination to keep moving forward when everything seems to be working against you.
From the promise of a young tennis career to an unimaginable fight for recovery, Sarah's journey is a testament to perseverance, hope, and the human spirit.
