When Allora wakes up to find her pony is missing, she sneaks out into the darkness to search for him. Her fluffy, white dog joins the search and they ask for help from the animals. To the dismay of Allora though, no one has seen him. She sits with her doggy companion and stares into the night sky, filled with sadness, missing her lost pony Oliver. However, help comes from an unexpected place as the moon smiles down at them. The man in the moon can see the whole world below and can therefore see Allora's lost pony. He tells his new friends that Oliver had wondered off sleep walking and is now lost in the orchard. Allora and her dog run to find him, and just as the moon told them, Oliver was found in the orchard. They all embrace, so relieved to have found each other. They walk home with the moons shine glowing in their hearts.
