Haunted is an outburst in words of a suppressed shriek held in for long, being piled on ever since. Reading the poem you can actually feel as if someone was crying out loud but isn't expecting anyone to help her. We also witness an evolution, some restraint, some compromise, and an abundance of growth. Charged Guilty is very humane and relatable. I, as a reader, could live through the character. I am a Tumultuous Poet is the mirror of Gauri's soul which she presents bare to her readers. The one sentence that I can put forward truthfully about One True Sentence is that 'it is a realistic walkthrough fantasy'. Lost in my Labyrinth is an amazing start for Gauri Shukla and a treat for her readers. I'd highly recommend everyone to read this book and appreciate its nonchalance. The illustrations have been beautifully done by Aishwarya Jayan, who has managed to capture the depth of Gauri's writings and mirror them. (Swarnika- Director/Mentor/Editor, Nrityangana Kala Kentor)
