It begins before you were born - indeed, before the world itself existed - and takes us from the heart of God to the Garden of Eden, from the Garden to the Cross, and from the Cross into eternity.
Along the way, we shall discover the Seven Wonders of Salvation and begin to understand what words such as forgiveness, redemption, justification, reconciliation, new birth, sanctification and glorification actually mean. They aren't simply theological terms. Together they reveal something astonishing about what God has done, what He is doing now, and what He has promised still to do.
This book belongs to no particular denomination or Christian tradition. Whether you are Anglican, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, part of another Christian tradition, or simply beginning to explore the Christian faith, the invitation is the same: come back to the Scriptures and discover for yourself the wonder of what Jesus Christ has done for you.You don't need a theological education to come on this journey. And if you've studied the Bible for years, don't be too sure that there won't be some surprises waiting for you as well. Salvation is far greater than simply having your sins forgiven or going to heaven when you die. It reaches backwards beyond your birth and forwards beyond your death. And at its heart is a discovery that can transform the way you understand God, yourself and your whole relationship with Him.
