For Teens, Young Adults, and Baby Boomers alike... Set amidst the backdrop of the turbulent 1960s, Looking for Davy Jones, is a coming-of-age tale about five teenage girls growing up during the time of the Vietnam War, flower children, sexual awakening, and rock 'n roll, as well as the challenges they face in their relationships with each other, cute boys, and their families. The most defining, life-altering moments in their young lives come from their experiences while attending a private, Catholic school where they face unforgiving Nuns, spiritual upheaval, death, and betrayal. A bond of kindred spirits forms as they set out to find true love and happiness. They search the hills of Laurel Canyon for a glimpse of their favorite music group and pop icons, The Monkees. Their uplifting music makes the girls believe if they could just find them, everything will be alright in their own world, or so muses Diane. In their quest, they discover more than they could ever have imagined...
