London's Metropolitan Police Force's top detective was Bruce Waitworth. He was nearing retirement and the Met was actively looking for his successor. Since his daughter, Kimberly, was a pre-teen, he had played a game with her that he called Clues. Each evening, after she went to bed, he would hide several clues around the house, and the next day after she came home from school, she would find them, and when all were found, she would try to solve the puzzle (or cime). Over time, she became quite good at it and her father used her talent to home her detective skills. And now, she had been a detective for nearly ten years, and since he was retiring, the Met was looking at her as a possible replacement for him. This book contains stories on what happened that showed she was quite ready for the job, as well as different case files she worked on after she became London's Top Female Detective.
