This collection of notes, manuscripts, and presentation material addresses an understanding of several of the transport and kinetic processes needed for mainly two energy industries-nuclear and petroleum. As both industries are challenged to maintain a safe operation these notes present attempt to present both simple and only as complex of mathematics as needed. The aim is to introduce ideas and several research tools to formulate analyses to help make better informed decisions with the best mathematics, statistics, and science information to benefit people and the environment affected.
