For anyone who has ever been visited by a ghost, spoken to by a spirit, or simply felt the pull to understand the unseen world-this book is for you. And even if you've never had a paranormal experience, it's still for you. This is a journey not to be missed.
At six years old, I didn't realise that the ghostly figure I saw and the whispering voices I heard were messages from beyond the grave. By eleven, a voice told me to say goodbye to my sister-she wasn't coming back. From that moment, my life became a battle between fear and fascination.
As a child, teenager, and adult, I lived in terror of the unseen. But over time, that fear transformed into love, understanding, and a lifelong partnership with Spirit. This book shares that transformation-from the darkness of fear to the light of acceptance-and the lessons learned along the way.
Yet, my greatest struggle hasn't been with the dead, but with the living. I question why, after more than two hundred years, science has made so little progress in understanding psychic functioning. Why are millions of people who claim to communicate with the dead-or who have witnessed something paranormal-so easily dismissed by professional debunkers? Where does science fit among those with psychic gifts and spirituality as an orthodox belief system?
This is not just my story-it's an invitation to explore your own connection with the Spirit World, to question what you've been told, and to open your mind to what lies beyond the veil.
With heartfelt gratitude
I owe a deep debt of thanks to Professor Ray J Paul, Fay Weldon, CBE, and Jackie Weaver, The Animal Psychic, whose understanding, encouragement, and enthusiasm guided me through the daunting process of finishing and publishing my very first book. Their belief in me, at a time when I was still finding my voice as a writer, gave me the confidence to share my truth and my experiences with the world. Their wisdom, humour, and kindness continue to inspire me every time I put pen to paper.
