One night while singing my daughter our usual lullabies she asked me to sing helicopter. On the fly I created a song that is loosely sang to a slightly slower rhythm of five little ducks. It became an instant hit with her and a regularly requested song. She has loved it so much I thought I would turn it into a simple little bedtime story for other helicopter loving toddlers to enjoy as well. It tells the simple tale of a helicopter (specifically a forest fire helicopter) makes its way to bed.
