Lincoln's Love Story is a historical novel written by Eleanor Atkinson and published in 1909. The book tells the story of Abraham Lincoln's romantic involvement with Ann Rutledge, a woman he met in New Salem, Illinois, in the 1830s. The novel is based on historical accounts and explores the relationship between Lincoln and Rutledge, as well as the impact of her death on Lincoln's life and career. Atkinson's portrayal of Lincoln is sympathetic and human, and she offers a unique perspective on the man who would become one of America's greatest presidents. The book is a fascinating look at the personal life of Abraham Lincoln and the impact of love and loss on his journey to the White House. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
