As a lover of poetry, I wanted to do something special to celebrate National Poetry Day this year. So I wrote my very own Poetry book! The title Lighthouses was chosen as an acknowledgement of lightworkers and the service they provide for others. Irish Poet and Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney was renowned for creating with words. Below are two of his quotes that I feel are particularly apt for my poetry book. My Poetry book is written in the form of the traditional Japanese Haiku. It is my greatest wish that you may feel the love, compassion and joy that these poems have been infused with.
