The entirety of relativity's validity hinges on the velocity of light being invariant - meaning it never shifts. This book argues that it does - and presents the monumental consequences of that reality. LIGHT, the first volume of Galilean Variance - The Rebirth of Classical Physics, takes Einstein's quote and 1913 acknowledgment of this Achilles' heel seriously - and demolishes the cornerstone, triggering a critical failure of relativity's entire edifice - and with it, much of QED.
Jason Verbelli exposes why Lorentz invariance must be abandoned. While it has matched many predictions, relativity has also failed repeatedly, as documented in this book. He argues invariant models achieve their successes through an erroneous artifice that has misled science for over a century, and Jason substantiates the reasons Galilean variance should replace both relativity and aether theory.
Inside, you'll discover where the scientific community went wrong with Lorentz invariance, why there is no aether, space-time, or fourth dimension, and how Galilean variance can yield the same predictions as relativity - but for entirely different reasons. The book exposes the misconceptions of Doppler shift and redshift, explains the difference between the same light and brand new re-emitted light, and clarifies how the velocity of that new light shifts depending on the source.
Verbelli examines the illusions and misconceptions surrounding double slit experiment(s) and why particle-wave duality is a false construct. He also redefines the fundamentals of optics in a way that makes relativity's foundation untenable, presenting modified equations for Maxwell/Heaviside and connecting the correct model of light propagation, color, and applies laws of optics to gravity as a force and an emission - paving the way for Book 2 on GRAVITY.
You'll also find the author's philosophies on science and the importance of returning to reason, as well as Jason's sharp critiques of entrenched dogma. This work is designed for both lay readers and post-doctorate physicists, blending clear explanations with advanced mathematics and technical insight.
