And here she was now, at the center of everything. Having a soak in the Saudi Royal Palace after a ride on her magnificent horse; racing over the dunes beside her favorite King. In just a little while she'd change into her uniform and ride out to the airfield to welcome her boss. He had come to the desert to share Thanksgiving wishes with the troops of Operation Desert Shield. She smiled again, all in all not a bad year.
