Liberties Journal of Culture & Politics: Spring 2027

Liberties features the world's sharpest minds for readers who are determined to stay curious. The result is a collection of writing about today worth rereading tomorrow.

Every issue of Liberties offers more of the different. This independent journal of ideas publishes long-form essays and original poetry on a quarterly basis, bringing together voices that rarely share the same page -- from Nobel laureates Louise Glück and Mario Vargas Llosa and Pulitzer Prize winners Paul Muldoon, Jorie Graham, Mosab Abu Toha, and Benjamin Moser to leading thinkers across culture and politics, such as Elliot Ackerman, John Banville, David Grossman, Martha C. Nussbaum, Cynthia Ozick, Carissa Véliz, to introducing the next generation of writers.

Liberties is the premier journal of culture and politics that also publishes new works online weekly and hosts lively events dedicated to thinking carefully about art and ideas. United only by a commitment to advancing the humanities and the democratic process, Liberties provides serious ideas and beautiful writing for readers who demand both.
