Although we spoke often, we saw each other often and had what others sought in a father an daughter relationship, there are still things I wish we had the opportunity to experience together. There are moments that I wish we could still share. There are words that I wish I could still say. Because he is now gone, I wrote them all day and share them in this book. In my writing, my heart healed to some extent, and my mind was put at ease. I still cry, I still hurt, I am still sad and I still feel the pain, but for once, I was able to say everything that I felt in my heart by writing letters to my deceased father.
