A Letter To Grover Cleveland On His False Inaugural Address: The Usurpations And Crimes Of Lawmakers And Judges And The Consequent Poverty, Ignorance And Servitude Of The People is a political treatise written by Lysander Spooner. Published in 1886, the book is a critique of the inaugural address of President Grover Cleveland, in which Spooner accuses the government of the United States of usurping power and committing crimes against the people. Spooner argues that the government has overstepped its constitutional bounds and has become a tyrannical force that has caused poverty, ignorance, and servitude among the people. He accuses lawmakers and judges of violating the principles of natural law and justice, and of using their power to enrich themselves at the expense of the people. The book is a call to action for the American people to take back their government and restore the principles of liberty and justice. Spooner argues that the people have the right to resist tyranny and to overthrow a government that has become corrupt and oppressive. Overall, A Letter To Grover Cleveland On His False Inaugural Address is a passionate and persuasive argument for individual freedom and limited government, and a scathing indictment of the political establishment of the time. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
