Have you ever allowed the opinions of others to dim your light? Have there ever been times when you've felt alone with no sense of direction towards success? People come into your life and influence the ways you act and speak. This book is a personal narrative and guide to help you navigate your truth and live in it. Jahrobi's story isn't the typical coming of age story that you constantly hear about in regards to boys in the hood. It's real, raw, vulnerable, and everything you need to read. Throughout various stages of Jahrobi's life, he was tormented, invalidated, and shaken by life's obstacles. He left his aspirations behind at a young age for the fulfillment of others. He began to spiral out of control and lose himself to the point of no end. It is necessary for every individual to utilize their power by any means necessary. This is dedicated to black folks who've been silenced and are trying to figure out how to take their power back. As a Howard University graduate, Jahrobi's success reflects the ways that he faced adversities. Let's Be Real for Once exposes the heights you must climb to achieve your goals. Now is the time to begin your journey!
