This is a fictional account of Wallace Daddyo Davison, an African American man who typifies the story of young African American men of another era who left home too soon, fought in World War II for the preservation of freedom from tyranny abroad and who came back to America only to be denied freedom and opportunity. He squares off against all comers, criminals, thugs, Nazis, crooked police, drug addicts, haints, spooks, specters and even Death! His story of leaving the South and settling North is a well-known event in American History called the Great Migration. In spite of all the obstacles and bad decisions; Daddyo through hard work, crime and other innovative techniques, he not only survived his circumstances but became a legend in the process.
