Angela Greene is a veteran media professional celebrating forty years in radio and print. Based in Atlanta, she holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in administration of justice and security. Her journalism career began at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution while she was still in college. Angela has extensive on-air experience on Atlanta radio, where she has worked as an on-air talent at WCLK, WFOX, WSB-FM, WALR, WVEE, WAOK, and WPGN, and as a producer. She currently hosts the award-winning Jazz Flavors on WPGN Radio Atlanta, where she received the 2024 Larry Tinsley Broadcast Award for Radio Show of the Year. She also hosts the YouTube podcast Conversations with Angela. In 2023, she was named to Black Women in Radio's distinguished Inaugural 30, whose careers are archived in the Library of Congress. She is a member of the African American Civil Rights Caucus for the Radio Preservation Task Force, as well as both the Atlanta and National Associations of Black Journalists. Angela is the author of Unnecessary Roughness - The Story of a Mother's Fight for Justice, archived in the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. Her latest work, Legalized Extortion - How the Government Hunted Black Doctors Who Treated Poor and Elderly Medicaid Patients, accompanies the forthcoming documentary of the same name and reflects her commitment to advocating for Black physicians and the communities they serve.
