John Walker had run away from Virginia City, Nevada years ago, leaving what was left of his family and the ghosts of his tortured past behind him. The homicide of John's father forced his unwilling return. In order heal his family and make his life whole, John has no choice, He must face and deal with his psychic ability; an ability that he has denied for most of his life. His wife feels betrayed by the lies he'd built their marriage on and his children no longer trust him. As John struggles to face his deceptive actions, he's torn between running away again or facing the truths he finds through the help of his friends, old and new. When he finally admits that his son is also psychic and has spent most of his young life with John's deceased brother, David as his friend, he discovers that his father, Charlie, was also psychic and drank to bury his own ghosts and demons. As his secrets come to light he reluctantly embarks on a journey of painful truths and self discovery. As each ghost is laid to rest John begins to embrace his hidden talents and becomes closer to his family and the inner peace that he never believed possible. The discovery of deception of a long time trusted family friend and a long buried body brings climax and resolution to this story of family loss and renewal of faith.
