This book explores the botanical and medicinal riches of the Leele, an ethnic group located in the ELL Mapangu area, in the Kasai province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through a detailed floristic analysis, the book presents the medicinal plants used by the Leele, taking into account their diversity, their autoecological characteristics and their therapeutic virtues. The author highlights the important traditional knowledge of the Leele people, passed down from generation to generation, which combines observation, experience and the use of plants to treat various pathologies. At the same time, the book integrates a scientific approach to medicinal flora, offering taxonomic descriptions and botanical analyses of the plants listed.
