How do I go from bondage to sin to blessing in Christ? This book is unique because of its wordplay and original setting by which it takes place. The children of Israel were invited by God to leave Egypt and travel to the promise land of blessing. Along the way, they chose to disobey and return to the bondage of the past because the fear of freedom in their future was more than they could see or handle. Right before they went into the promised land, they camped in a place called Shittim. Here they were finally fully deceived by the enemy, and they sadly returned to their bondage.
