This is Volume 1 of a collection of selected works by Saint John Chrysostom, presented in both Greek and Latin. The texts have been carefully reviewed and transcribed from ancient codices. John Chrysostom (c. 349 - 407 AD), Archbishop of Constantinople, was an important Early Church Father and is revered as a saint in the Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, Anglican, and Lutheran churches. His writings are invaluable for understanding the development of Christian theology and the historical context of the early Church. This volume offers scholars and students a unique opportunity to engage with Chrysostom's work in its original languages, providing insights into his eloquent preaching, theological arguments, and pastoral concerns. The meticulous editing based on ancient sources ensures the accuracy and authenticity of these important texts.
