Regula Et Testamentum Seraphici P. N. Sancti Francisci Accuratius Recognita presents a meticulously revised edition of the Rule and Testament of Saint Francis of Assisi. This Latin text, prepared by Francisco Pla, offers a detailed examination of the foundational principles guiding the Franciscan Order. The volume includes an additional spiritual testament, providing further insight into the saint's teachings and spiritual guidance.
This edition serves as an invaluable resource for scholars of religious history, Franciscan studies, and Latin literature. It illuminates the ethical and spiritual framework established by Saint Francis, which continues to influence religious thought and practice. The inclusion of the shorter spiritual testament enhances the reader's understanding of Franciscan ideals and their enduring legacy. The text is essential for those seeking a deeper connection with the spiritual heritage of the Franciscan tradition.
