Constitutiones Generales Recollectorum Totius Regni Galliae presents a detailed record of the general constitutions enacted and approved during the assembly held in Versailles in September 1770. Authored by Lottin, this historical document provides invaluable insights into the religious and legal frameworks governing the Recollects within the Kingdom of France during the late 18th century.
Written in Latin, this work offers a primary source for understanding the ecclesiastical laws, regulations, and administrative practices of the period. Scholars of religious history, legal history, and French history will find this volume essential for researching the interplay between religious orders, the French monarchy, and the broader societal context of pre-revolutionary France.
