Born in Munich, Germany, Julie's upbringing was shaped by the rich European culture. After living in Shanghai, China, for five years, she and her family moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and then they settled in Orange County, California, where she has resided since 2019. With a career dedicated to children's education - from working in children's homes and later serving as a preschool and kindergarten principal, now as a German language teacher in California - Julie's books are rooted in her professional experiences and life wisdoms. Her stories not only support childhood development but also emphasize the importance of social competence and emotional growth.
