On March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 said goodnight to air traffic control and disappeared. It has not been found. On July 17, 1996, TWA Flight 800 exploded off Long Island. Two hundred and fifty-eight witnesses reported seeing a streak of light ascending toward the aircraft before it detonated. The official investigation said they were wrong. On July 17, 2014, MH17 was shot from the sky over Ukraine with 298 people on board. The men convicted of their murder are free in Russia.
The Last Transmission is an evidence-first investigation into eight of the most haunting and most contested aviation mysteries of the past century - from Amelia Earhart's final radio call over the Pacific to the ghost flight of Helios 522, whose unconscious crew was observed through cockpit windows by Greek Air Force jets as the aircraft flew itself toward a hillside.
