Jack Reynolds, a legendary 62-year-old gunslinger and former outlaw leader, receives a terminal cancer diagnosis giving him only six to eight months to live. Rather than waste away in bed, he decides to attempt the greatest heist in American history - robbing the U.S. Treasury building in Washington D.C. He convinces his six adult sons, who have been living respectable lives as ranchers, to join him along with twenty-six surviving members of his old gang, the Reynolds Gang, who have similarly gone straight over the years.
The ambitious plan involves months of careful preparation as the aging outlaws infiltrate Washington D.C. under false identities to study the Treasury building's security, guard rotations, and vault system. Jack purchases land in Canada as their ultimate destination, believing they can live as wealthy, free men beyond the reach of U.S. law enforcement. As the gang reunites for this final score, they must confront not only the enormous risks of robbing the federal government, but also the question of whether old outlaws can truly change their ways and find redemption through one last ride together.
